My Story
Well - where to start? I wear many hats - literally and 'so to speak'! I am a mom, a massage therapist, a personal chef, a certified teacher, a BFF to a few, a sister, a princess (well in my own mind), a wine connoisseur (or just a wino?), a daughter, an urban cowgirl, a city slicker, a world traveler, and a big dreamer:)
I was born and raised in Canada in a small town called Mackenzie. I ventured from there to Europe for a year before embarking on a stint working for Club Med in Mexico. Unsure of what I really wanted to do with my life I decided to get my teaching degree and completed my Bachelors Degree at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. Traveling has been an integral part of my life and I have had the fortitude of spending summers in the Mediterannean, winters in Thailand and Fiji while exploring the many islands of Hawaii and coastal Mexican villages on various spring breaks and holidays. Through and through there has never been a day since the age of 6 that I didn't have a camera with me during every waking moment of my life. I am sure I have been through at least 100 cameras in my 40 years but my hobby has become my passion and profession.
Capturing life's every expression, every moment, every breath is something that has just been second nature to me. I have the ability to find beauty in the most simple, unposed, and natural moments that capture the expressions of love and life. My desire is to connect with you and bring you professional and quality photography that will encompass your loves, your laughs, and your life. I look forward to meeting with you and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
